Midnight Sun is a Canadian, publicly listed exploration company, focussed on our flagship Solwezi Project, located in Zambia. Our property is vast, highly prospective, and located in the heart of the Zambia-Congo Copper Belt, the second largest copper producing region in the world. We are surrounded by world-class producing copper mines, including Africa’s largest copper mining complex right next door – First Quantum’s Kansanshi Mine1 Many of the world’s leading mining companies are active in the region both as operators and explorers, including Barrick, Rio Tinto, Glencore, Ivanhoe Mines, First Quantum, Anglo American and KoBold Metals.
Our geological environment is conducive to world-class, large, high-grade, and scalable copper deposits, and our 506 km2 property features numerous structural and mineralized targets representing multiple opportunities for transformative discoveries.
Discoveries made on our property have similar geological characteristics and grades to world-class operating mines located nearby. Led by an experienced geological team with multiple deposits and mines around the world to their credit, and through strategic partnerships such as our Dumbwa Earn-In with Bill Gates-backed KoBold Metals, we intend to discover Zambia’s next multi-generational copper deposit and execute our plan to explore the extent of our property.

Responsible Exploration
At Midnight Sun, we aim to better the communities in which we operate. A welcoming jurisdiction, Zambia remains one of the largest copper producers in Africa and is globally ranked as a top copper producing region. As such, we are committed to doing our part by way of both adhering to, and exceeding, environmental standards, as well as protecting the health and safety of our employees. Local communities are largely supported by the world-class mines which operate in the region, and we intend to do our part by hiring local workers, educating, and training employees, and supporting community events and initiatives. We recognize that demand for responsibly mined critical metals such as copper play an integral role in electrification and a low-carbon world outlook.
